Black Ebony is an exotic species probably most known for its use as
fingerboards for various musical instruments, whereas the macassar ebony is the
wood of choice for many decorative turners. Its amazing striped pattern of real
blacks and dark chocolate browns is an unresistable draw for those in the know.
The inside dimensions are 4 3/4" x 9
1/2"x 4 1/4" tall. Box walls are 1/4" thick , box does not have a bottom. The
cover fits as a sleeve over the top of the cardboard tissue box the opening fits
nicely with the oval shape of the box.
